    Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or newer administration, Microsoft Active Directory 2007 or newer administration, and/or Microsoft Exchange 2010 or newer administration experience. Experience should include at least five projects in one or more of these technical areas. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.

     

    Candidate Desired Skills:

    • Documented seven years’ experience with Active Directory with two years occurring within the past two years
    • Documented at least two years of experience with scripting automation using Vbscript, powershell, or other scripting languages. With two years experience using PowerShell to automate task.
    • Documented four years experience supporting Group Policy Management
    • Documented two years experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory Federated Services
    • Documented two years experience supporting Microsoft Azure Active Directory Sync or Connect
    • Documented two years of experience working with or supporting Microsoft O365 Exchange online
    • Documented two years of experience working with Microsoft Online Services.
  • Overview

    IPKeys Technology is seeking an Active Directory/Group Policy Administrator - Team Lead to be part of the DLA JETS Software & Mobility team, which support will (and can) be conducted in various locations.   

     

    The primary work location for these positions will be one of the following:

    • Columbus, OH
    • Richmond, VA
    • Ft Belvoir, VA
    • New Cumberland, PA
    • Philadelphia, PA
    • Battle Creek MI
    • Dayton, OH

    Responsibilities

     

    The Active Directory/Group Policy Administrator will support the day to day operations of multiple Active Directory Environments, to include proper functioning of the systems, the health of multiple forests, view logs, and troubleshoot problems as they arise. The support of these requirements are for both the NIPRNET and SIPRNET. The Administrator will be responsible for meeting the requirements detailed in Section 2.3.3. The Government may require the contractor to work longer hours on given days and/or weekends, depending on operational needs and contingencies, (i.e., installation and testing during non-peak hours).

     

    The Administrator will support subset applications to support Active Directory as a whole, i.e., Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM), Azure Active Directory Connect (AADConnect) and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Microsoft Exchange and support, monitoring active directory. The Active Directory Administrator must possess working knowledge of certificate based authentication and PKI infrastructure. The Administrator will keep the Active Directory environment up to date with the latest Microsoft updates/patches and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines to ensure compliance with Information Assurance programs within DLA. The Administrator will oversee Active Directory Administrator work performance; provide guidance on policy and procedures of operations of the environment.

    • Manages, plans, and implements AD in an Enterprise Network. Modifies AD Schema. Manages AD Physical Architecture and AD Logical Architecture.
    • Designs, plans and implements Sites and Subnets. Monitors AD Replication.
    • Prepares a Domain Controller Strategy. Manages Trust Relationships. Designs, plans and implements Organizational Units (OUs). Monitors and performs backup and restore of AD.
    • Designs, plans and implements group policies for an enterprise environment.
    • Plans and performs Group Policy for optimization, security, etc. Troubleshoots Group Policy.
    • Performs Group Policy backup and recovery.
    • Manages administrative templates for Group Policies.
    • Creates a strategy for configuring the user environment and the computer environment with Group Policy.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive
    • IA Level: IAT III

    Computing Environment: MCSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSE 2016, MCSA 2016
