    Education

    Experience

    Minimum Experience:

    • Five (5) years of progressive experience working in a medium to large IT environment
    • Three years of above experience in the integration and management of Windows application servers and the installation, configuration, and support of applications and devices.
    • Two (2) or more years’ experience with technical troubleshooting and hands-on experience with Microsoft Skype for Business
    • Must possess a DOD Secret Clearance and be eligible for an IT-II upon assignment
    • Must possess certification meeting the DOD 8570.01 IAT level II including but not limited to MCSA, MCSE: Communication, MCITP SA, and MCITP EA,
  • Overview

    IPKeys Technology is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator to be part of the DLA JETS Software & Mobility team, which support will be conducted in New Cumberland, PA. The Senior System Administrator will support on premise and cloud hosted Skype for Business infrastructure. The support will include resolving user issues related to Skype for Business client software installation and user profile configuration, contacting vendors to open support cases, and implementing changes to resolve issue and increase security posture.  The Senior System Administrator will also assist in the deployment of mobile devices by testing operating system images, evaluating new hardware & accessories and recommending changes to improve functionality and assisting with system imaging as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end user training. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management

    Qualifications

    • Documented four year experience with Microsoft Office Communications Server, Microsoft Lync and/or Microsoft Skype for Business
    • Documented two year experience supporting Microsoft Office 365
    • Documented two year experience supporting tablets running Microsoft operating systems
