  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Specialist Associate to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish processes and assign appropriate resources to effectively administer the requirement
    • Create/Maintain a Contractor Personnel Listing
    • Create/Maintain Task Order Management Plan (TOMP) and discuss administrative matters related to technical management, security issues, travel authorizations, quality control process and reporting procedures
    • Create the initial record in the applicable Enterprise-wide Contractor Manpower Reporting Application (ECMRA) tool within 15 working days after task order award and validate that the information is complete and accurate
    • Provide meeting minute notes after each meeting, approximately 5-7 meetings per week, and Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) identifying the support to all activities, deliverables provided, issues/challenges and planned efforts and resources challenges for the following week
    • Create/Maintain a Monthly Status Report (MSR) containing data to demonstrate the team’s performance against the Performance Standards of the contract.
    • Attend a monthly meeting with the COR and other Government stakeholders to discuss monthly activities, technical reports, trip reports, and provide opportunities to identify challenges, establish priorities, and coordinate resolution of issues
    • Provide minutes of these meetings, including attendance, issues discussed, decisions made, and items assigned for action
    • Analyze operational reporting from cyber organizations; prepare Situational Awareness and Operational Update Briefings for JFHQ-DODIN staff and leadership daily
    • Manage and support the weekly execution of a Cyber Working Group, including the development and dissemination of the agenda (48 hours prior to the meeting), dissemination and tracking of all working products and artifacts, development and dissemination of minute notes and tracking the progress of all action items.
    • Prepare daily status brief of ongoing orders and those pending release; status shall include acknowledgement by tasked commands, pending or follow up actions, and percentage of completion
    • Prepare daily DODIN Activity Report; report shall provide a fusion of sensor log data, operation and intelligence activities

     

    Qualifications

    • Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating effective communication skills with JFHQ-DODIN staff and external organizations
    • Familiarity with Department of Defense security requirements
    • Experience working in a Cyber Security environment similar in size (or larger) and scope to this award
    • Strong working knowledge of large, complex Information Technology environments
    • Exceptions may be made for specific individuals with specialized knowledge or skills in certain circumstances at the discretion of the Government
    • Requirements development and analysis

    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines
    • Network troubleshooting
    • Technical planning and analysis, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses
