  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Lead Systems Administrator to provide support to the Defense Readiness Reporting System – Army (DRRS-A) at the Pentagon.

    Responsibilities

    The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for:

    • Managing servers, including installing and upgrading the servers.
    • Solving any kind issues/problems with the systems.
    • Providing essential software support for the configuration of the hardware devices and Defense Reporting Readiness System - Army application(DRRS-A), testing new software and designing the structure of the network.

    • Monitoring the system configuration, including the server event log.
    • Testing the operating system software, the networking software and the computer hardware.
    • Monitoring and developing the procedures for backups of the servers.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience with configuring and managing virtualized server environments ensuring server load balancing and hot failover procedures.

    Experience

    • Knowledge of VmWare vSphere and Windows Server 2008 R2.
