  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Process Re-engineering Specialist candidate to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. The candidate will report to our Program Manager.  

    Responsibilities

    • Review and recommend improvements to Engineering processes, documentation 
    • Assist the Government by updating all engineering, configuration and testing processes to meet engineering deliverables and propose change where necessary to conform to receive requirements 
    • Publish an engineering process improvement schedule for showing complete list of key engineering processes and their process description. The Contractor's review of engineering processes shall manifest into an advisory process improvement Plan of Action (POA) advising the Government manager where process inefficiencies and gaps exist and recommends areas which could be changed to improve engineering process workflow execution performance 
    • Document and graphically present for approval the analysis of process functions for work flows and discrete processes performed within the Communications Engineering Division. The Contractor shall host and facilitate process gap analysis meetings and work groups, evaluate, prioritize, and educate others on the technical and/or operational implications of approved process changes to the engineering work process 
    • Participate in various forums to review engineering processes and ensure issues are technically addressed and resolved, are being complied with, and improved 
    • Develop and maintain Engineering Process Guidelines for the Division management. These guidelines shall be updated as changes warrant and provide copies of all Engineering Process Guidelines bi-annually and make them available for inspection at all times. 

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
