  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist Intermediate candidate to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. The candidate will report to our Program Manager.  

    Responsibilities

    The configuration management specialist intermediate shall: 

    • Support the configuration management process to control design changes associated with the DISN design architecture and documentation including test results and software/hardware configuration documentation of existing and new products selected to evolve the DISN transport network 
    • Work with vendors to ensure new technologies are properly tracked prior to implementation into the DISN architecture 
    • Support the development of monthly status reports of technical issues/concerns with new hardware/software to ensure full compliance with DISN network standards 
    • Support the delivery of weekly status reports of database management changes, logistics management changes, configuration management changes, requirements integration changes, and system interoperability changes 
    • Support the tracking and provide technical assistance on the development of configuration management studies, administration activities, performance analyses of network changes and security management of DISN architectures 

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required. 
    • Requirements development and analysis 

    Experience

    • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred 
    • 5 years configuration analysis experience
