    National Demand Response Market Aggregator and advanced Technology Company based in New Jersey seeks an Account Representative to focus on growth of new customers in the New York City territory.  The Company has certified highly secure energy monitoring and curtailment operations in Con Edison, NYISO, National Grid, PJM and CAISO and is seeking a consultative, savvy, efficient and high energy prospecting and new business acquisition professional with experience selling services and/or products to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) market segments in NYC.

     

    The Company is providing a unique and highly differentiated client value proposition that includes Price Responsiveness economic benefits with DR incentives funding environmentally clean back up generation infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities
    • Develop long-term relationships with client decision makers & influencers
    • Participate in sales strategy and planning
    • Negotiate and close agreements which achieve defined business goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Develop a working knowledge of NYISO , ConEdison, O&R and PSEG Long Island regulations impacting our business
    • Develop the sales funnel by delivering weekly, quarterly, and annual sales activities and closed business analytics

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have:

     

    • NYC energy and buildings management experience and be a quick-start.
    • Strong written and oral communication presentation skills.
    • Relationship development proficiency
    • Professionalism, integrity and exude a high-energy level and motivation for energy and technology based sales.
