  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Senior Information Technology Expert candidate to provide transport hardware/software engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.  

    Responsibilities

    The senior information technology expert candidate shall: 

    • Perform end-to-end engineering to integrate the Client's components securely into the Global Information Grid (GIG).  The candidate shall provide engineering support to the DOD Net-Centric communications that encompasses hybrid networking environments combining satellite, terrestrial, and wireless communications 
    • Shall provide enterprise-level engineering analysis deliverables and recommendations on end-to-end issues impacting the successful delivery of SATCOM capabilities, systems and services, to include interoperability, standards, architectures, synchronization, and integration 
    • Shall provide requirements supportability and engineering analysis deliverables and recommendations in support of the Client's Analyses of Alternatives (AoA) 
    • CONUS travel with Government personnel to attend engineering Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), support Government project leads at internal/external project management meetings, develop briefing slides for Senior Leadership/project leads, develop white papers and support the development of transport related engineering studies. 
    • The candidate shall have experience in authoring and updating documents such as: 
    • Technical Reports 
    • Technical White papers 
    • Technical Point Papers  
    • Presentation Briefings  
    • The candidate shall have experience in supporting such tasking as: 
    • Development of briefings 
    • Recording minutes during the meetings 
    • Action item identification and tracking 
    • Technical analysis of interoperability issues 
    • Reviewing and editing SATCOM MIL-STD documents compliant to MIL-STD development guidance 
    • Reviewing and editing NATO documents 
    • Synchronizing MIL-STD documents with NATO documents 
    • Coordination with meeting attendees and stakeholders; and collection of briefings from presenters 

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Requirements development and analysis 
    • System and Security Architecture development 
    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning 
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines  
    • Network troubleshooting  
    • Technical planning and analysis, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses
