  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking an Executive Information Technology Consultant to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world-wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. 

    Responsibilities

    • Support the systems integration testing and engineering support to assess and support implementing advanced and future networking technologies into the DISN 
    • Assist Client in certifying, assessing and validating the approved designs and proof of concept including developing design plans, test plans and implementation plan; performing the assessment and certification, developing test reports that include an analysis of results, recommendations and supporting rationale and last, but not least supporting the deployment 
    • Provide engineering support to the laboratory testing and validation of varying equipment configurations prior to deployment in the operational network 
    • Support T& E activities, proof of concept demonstrations and network design field trials 
    • The candidate shall have demonstrated experience authoring and updating the requested government deliverable samples below: 
    • Fielding Plans  
    • Configuration Guides  
    • Technical Implementation Guidance Documents  
    • Product Training Presentations  

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Requirements development and analysis 
    • System and Security Architecture development 
    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning 
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines  
    • Network troubleshooting  
    • Technical planning and analysis, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses

    Experience

    • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred 
    • 15+ years with progressively complex electrical/hardware engineering experience 

    Education

    • Masters or Doctorate in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience 

    Security

    • Must possess an Active DoD Secret clearance and be eligible for Top Secret/SCI
