  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to lead a 60+ person team of subject matter experts that provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for building and managing a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.  

    Responsibilities

    • The program manager shall function as the management and technical point of contact with the Government, by performing administrative, financial, technical, and other program management efforts to ensure all work is planned and executed in an integrated manner to achieve cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.   
    • The program manager shall  participate as a member of the DISA Communications Engineering Division (IE5).  The program manager shall provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary for effective and efficient accomplishment of all requirements and ensure the successful completion of the overall contract effort.  The program manager shall use the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) as the primary point of contact for all task order activities.   
    • This program is located at Ft Meade, MD and the program manager will be expected to spend significant time at the client site. When not on-site, off-site facilities are in Annapolis Junction, MD. The program manager will be expected to identify and develop adjacent markets and direct follow-on growth opportunities. 

    Qualifications

    • Must have a minimum of seven years of related experience in Information Technology (IT) and/or Transport technologies 
    • Must have a minimum of five years demonstrated success leading Federal government programs in a project/program manager/systems engineering capacity or similar role 
    • Experience developing, managing and reporting program schedules, budgets, and program plans
    • Demonstrated experience with program financial reporting metrics 
    • Proven ability to manage dispersed technical engineering teams to include sub-contractors. 
    • Ability to grasp system concepts, break concepts into tangible components and understand how existing and future components will fit into a customer's mission space 
    • Experience in customer facing roles (oral communication, presentations/briefings, etc.) 
    • Strong coordination skills, organizational skills, and detail orientation 
    • Results oriented; ability to operate calmly under pressure 
    • Self-motivated and passionate about supporting U.S. defense customers and warfighters 

    Experience
