    Education

     

    • Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Network Systems Engineering Lead to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. 

    Responsibilities

    The Network Systems Engineering Lead shall provide engineering support for the planning, analysis, implementation, sustainment and upgrade of Timing and Synchronization (T&S) of the DISN and global DoD networks.  When required, the candidate shall travel with Government personnel to attend engineering Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), support Government project leads at internal/external project management meetings, develop briefing slides for Government, develop white papers and support the development of DISN T&S related engineering studies.   

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Requirements development and analysis 
    • System and Security Architecture development 
    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning 
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines  
    • Network troubleshooting  
    • Technical planning and analysis, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses  

    Experience

    • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred 
    • Minimum 5 years logistics engineering experience, including supervision/management experience. 
    • Knowledge of local and wide area network systems 
    • Experience as a technical project leader
