  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Consultant Intermediate candidate to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world-wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and maintain the necessary test environments to support interfaces between multiple systems, new development and upgrades of existing systems prior to integrating into the live environment 
    • Provide configuration management and ensure operational status of the IE5 test environment to include network components themselves as well as the tools and equipment required to conduct the testing 
    • Provide a baseline testing schedule that can be integrated into the Government’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) identifying the tests, steps, configurations, and durations.  Tests shall include functional testing, performance testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, security testing and any other test required by the Government prior to integration.  Conduct a Test Readiness Review (TRR) utilizing the Government’s TRR process 
    • Evaluate new and existing tools and services and validate with the Government that they are using the latest authorized tool 
    • Develop a systematic approach and metrics for tracking defect rates, resolution times and release cycles, and document and implement fixes. Recommend, implement and integrate new test tools and business processes. Develop a standard testing template, testing process, build documents, and perform testing tasks from a set of requirements 

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Requirements development and analysis 
    • System and Security Architecture development 
    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning 
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines  
    • Network troubleshooting  
    • Technical planning and analysis, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses

    Experience

    • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred 
    • 6+ years of experience with business process consulting 
    • Experience with process improvement, strategic planning, change management, and organizational redesign is required  

    Education
