  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Specialist Lead to provide transport engineering support for all DOD and non-DOD interconnected communication infrastructures located world- wide. The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis is expected to deliver client value for the Communications Engineering Division, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which is responsible for maintaining and posturing the DOD Information Network (DODIN) transport infrastructure and capabilities. Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.  

    Responsibilities

    The information systems security specialist lead candidate shall: 

    • Ensure operational effectiveness in accordance with Government directives, guidelines, and instructions to ensure that the Security Posture of the systems, both classified and unclassified, are kept in conformance with the latest Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) 
    • Ensure that all security requirements are identified, tracked, and satisfied; and all the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation and artifacts meet the requirements for full Authorization to Operate (ATO).   
    • Provides information assurance project management and development of mission-critical technical documents.   

     

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Requirements development and analysis 
    • Security Architecture development 
    • Network modeling, analysis, and planning 
    • Development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines  
    • Technical planning and analysis 
    • Verification and validation 

    Experience

    • Previous SATCOM operations experience
