Overview

IPKeys Technologies is seeking an Information System Security Engineer to join our team in support of the Army Product Manager for Radars (PdM Radars) program located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and validate that the radar systems continue to be compliant with Information Security Engineering support in order to meet security posture required for Approval to Operate (ATO).
  • Ensure cybersecurity artifacts are compliant with standards identified as they apply to the system, network, or enclave being supported.
  • Identify the security controls that are provided for PdM Radars weapon systems and document the controls in a security plan (or equivalent document).
  • Oversee required Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts.
  • Create and review DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages.
  • Set up and test site configurations in a virtual environment utilizing VMware Server software to foresee potential risks that might be associated with the environment before site visits and vulnerability scans.
  • Identify findings utilizing DISA approved ACAS tools.
  • Utilization of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG’s), Security Checklists, NIST SP-800 Series publications and Army Best Business Practices for an automated information system (AIS) to obtain ATO.

Qualifications

  • Design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems.
  • Integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems is required.

Experience
