Overview

One of the emerging leaders in serious gaming for the US Military, IPKeys Technologies, LLC., is looking for a Lead Interaction Designer to join our growing game development team in Eatontown, NJ, minutes from the New Jersey shore line and within easy reach of NYC.

 

We develop several widely used training simulations that are helping the American Warfighter prepare for issues and conflicts in the battlefield. This opportunity is to be the lead developer for a new education title.

 

The Lead Interaction Designer will be joining our team in developing several projects Unity focused on military and first responder training applications. If you are looking for a position where game technology meets engaging education materials, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities

As a key leader on a new small team, you will have the opportunity to influence and work on products that will ultimately save lives. The ideal candidate has a history in a senior or lead role. The candidate will help with architecture, implementation of systems, creation of features, and lead other designers in the development of the applications.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Work within an Agile development team, side by side with artists and designers
  • Work with Program Manager on project forecasting
  • Develop application features and mechanics within Unity, owning product vision and game design
  • Mentor developers on specific tasking as needed
  • Support sales and management team in client meetings for technical expertise, as needed

 

Qualifications

 

  • Experience managing teams in game development
  • Expertise in Unity
  • Advanced experience in core engine development, networking and tool development
  • Knowledge of the technical pipeline and all the process needed to make a game
  • Keen personal interest in video games with a solid knowledge of the field

Experience
