  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies, LLC is seeking a high energy, technically savvy systems architect with an ability to manage IT project teams providing systems engineering, architectural development, performance evaluations, and technical evaluations for current and emerging technologies and capabilities within the DoD Information Network (DoDIN). The selected candidate will provide day-to-day direction and technical oversight of teams analyzing DISA and DoD standard engineering and business processes to provide recommendations on the monitoring, reporting and system architectures for mobility, cloud computing, and DoD network infrastructure, applications, and services. Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills are prerequisites for success in this position.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple concurrent small (typically 2 to 6-person) technical teams.
    • Work scope and deliverables include technical assessments and proof of concepts to identify or recommend potential alternatives for IT, integration and demonstration of IT solutions/capabilities to meet DISA and Combatant Command (COCOM) priorities, solution analysis for technical problems that arise within different programs and projects, and analytic studies to determine optimal future network configurations.
    • Based on the seniority of this position, the successful candidate will be expected to support new business growth objectives by identifying and providing technical insights in new business pursuits.
    • This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD with Government on-site requirements at Fort Meade, MD.

    Qualifications

    • Up-to-date on technological trends and new and emerging hardware and software technologies and strong understanding of cloud technologies and services offered by major cloud vendors.
    • Ability to troubleshoot layers 1 through 7 of the OSI model, layers 1 through 4 of the TCP/IP stack.
    • Ability to work with various stakeholders across different discipline areas (Network, Hardware, Software, OS, etc.) to troubleshoot and report on performance related issues and/or enhancements.
    • Ability to review, understand, discriminate output from automated reporting tools and gather, correlate, and  execute on corrective actions necessary.
    • Ability to grasp system concepts, break concepts into tangible components and understand how existing and future components will fit into a customer's mission space.
    • Familiarity with coordinating and operating a tiger team for high priority projects that require close attention to detail and reporting to senior leadership.
    • Experience in customer facing roles with excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing samples, e.g., White Papers, may be requested during the interview process.
    • Strong coordination and organizational skills; results and detail orientation.
    • Ability to operate calmly under pressure and meet required objectives and timelines.
    • Self-motivated and passionate about supporting U.S. defense customers and warfighters.
