  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a RedHat/Linux Engineer – Journeyman to support the Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) at the Pentagon.

    Responsibilities

    • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
    • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.                                                                                                                                                          
    • (Red Hat LINUX): maintenance of hardware related systems and auxiliary equipment related to all Red Hat LINUX services for server environments and virtualized server environments. May deploy to alternate site for exercises and real-world events.

    Qualifications

    • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
    • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) is required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

    Experience

    • 3 - 5 years of providing support with a diverse set of responsibilities.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
