  • Overview

    IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer – Journeyman to support the Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) at the Pentagon.

    Responsibilities

    • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.                                                      
    • (WINDOWS): maintenance of hardware related systems and auxiliary equipment related to all Windows 2008/2012, Active Directory, virtualization services for both server and client environments.
    • (Solaris UNIX): maintenance of hardware related systems and auxiliary equipment related to all Oracle Sun Solaris Unix version 10 services for server environments. Deploy to alternate site for exercises and real-world events.

    Qualifications

    • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
    • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) is required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

    Experience

    • 3 - 5 years of providing support with a diverse set of responsibilities.
