  • Fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its C&A/A&A process, to include supporting IA policy, procedures and processes.
  • Experience in assessing/validating IA Controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex organizations.
  • Experience supporting Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), or other comparable inspection/audit

Overview

IPKeys Technologies is seeking an Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Analyst to a support a Cyber Assurance Program Support effort for the Defense Logistics Agency.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serves as an IA/Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) concerning C&A/A&A activities and all associated IA policies and procedures.
  • Fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its C&A/A&A process, to include supporting IA policy, procedures and processes.
  • Performs a DOD IA C&A/A&A process while either certifying an information system or serving as a SME for an information system undergoing certification/authorization.
  • Determines the applicable severity category for an identified vulnerability (e.g., non-compliant IA Control), and determines the possible ramifications on the system’s current or future accreditation. Required to brief senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the C&A process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Ten (5) years (Level III) of relevant C&A/A&A experience
  • Proficient in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) terminology and concepts
  • Possesses a certification meeting the DOD 8570.01 IAM Level III.

  • Proficiency in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and Access, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, to include Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills for resolving security issues

  • Effective communicator, both orally and written

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills for resolving security issues

Knowledge or experience with C&A concepts such as:

  • USCYBERCOM CTO Compliance Program

  • Wireless vulnerability assessment

  • Web Services (IIS, Apache, Proxy)

  • Database (SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Email Services (Exchange)

  • Vulnerability Scans (NESSUS, SCCM)

  • Knowledge of Phishing exercises

  • Physical Security
